Souha Yan
b. 1997
is an artist and engineer living and working in Boston, Massachusetts.
Through installation, durational media, sculpture, musical composition, and text, her art practice concerns the systems and structures of metaphysics, computation, and temporality. Her output tends to the personal and ephemeral.

She holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, has studied at the School for Poetic Computation, and has worked as an engineer at PathAI (creating an FDA-approved biopsy slide viewer), Google (developing user interfaces for local news experiences), and YouTube (building planet-scale content-delivery networks).
